Stonehaven is the Vaal River’s social centre, a natural interface between locals and visitors. Here you will find the largest alfresco Garden Restaurant in South Africa. You will enjoy being greeted by the relaxed and charming ambience as you meander through Stonehaven’s cobbled pathways that lead you through the quaint herb garden, over 1000 rose bushes and the mature gardens and lawns that sweep down to the Vaal River. You have a variety of dining options at Stonehaven on Vaal. The Dining Terraces provide an attractive spot for summer meals overlooking the river as does the garden and lawns where you can enjoy dining under a gazebo. Dining around the swimming pool while your children enjoy a dip is also a perfect way of enjoying relaxed family dining.

The River Palace is a tranquil, fully licensed venue as well as pub and restaurant with a 20 acre garden pub and restaurant located on the banks of The Vaal River.
They cater for all kinds of events, from Weddings, Corporate functions, Birthday celebrations, and many more with 5 different venues for you to choose from, as well as a magnificent selection of Vaal river cruises for your preference. They have the perfect venue just for you from breakfasts, brunches, braais, spits, buffets and cocktail snacks.
O’s Restaurant

The perfect space to enjoy smart food, great drinks and an ambience on the banks of the Vaal River. At O’s you can escape from everything, even if it is only for a few hours and still feel like you are at home. Friendly and professional service and excellent food from the a la carte-style menu will have you going back.
Exceptional steaks and a rare variety of mutton dishes are among the extraordinary dishes that could be expected from their passionate chef. Over the past six years this has become one of Parys’ main attractions and the most popular restaurant destination in town. They also boast a cocktail deck bar on the river, exclusively for over 21s.
Hoi Polloi

Hoi Polloi Parys is probably the most well-known restaurant in Parys, known for it’s eclectic and quirky antiques and decor. This Bohemian-style restaurant has a real ambiance, and makes for a fantastic dining experience. Hoi Polloi has a fantastic large wine menu, offering exceptional and rare vintages of some of the best wines in South Africa. They also have a broad range of imported and local craft beers. The eclectic collection of quirky decor and paraphernalia are worth the visit alone! The menu is also creative and thoughtful and not run-of-the-mill.
