This self-catering Vaal River Bush Lodge is the perfect getaway for intimate weekends or large group vacations.  This stunning 5-room location overlooks the Vaal River and can accommodate up to 10 guests.

The Vaal River Bush Lodge centres around a private sparkling clear pool with amenity wooden deck surrounded by lush indigenous vegetation.  A fully-equipped open plan kitchen | dining area | lounge and bar are great for effortless socialising.  The TV lounge opens out onto the wooden deck with pool and jacuzzi.

The boathouse is a glass walled sun room suspended above the Vaal River and is a spectacular place to spend the afternoon or evening.

The Vaal River Bush Lodge has a high tech, silent generator to ensure full functionality and uninterrupted power supply during load shedding and power failures.  It has uncapped, fast and secure WiFi and internet.

The Vaal River Bush Lodge is self catering and certain toiletries and basic consumables are provided on arrival only.

What an awesome stay we had, we truly enjoyed ourselves and didn’t want to leave as we felt at home. Yolinda is such a pleasant host and German too who was such a gentleman and made sure we were comfortable. My kids loved the place as it’s child friendly, will definitely be going back soon.

Home away from home. House has everything one can ask for. Loadshedding kicked in but the house has a backup generator so we were not left in the dark. Staff are very friendly they made sure we felt at home. View is stunning. Yolinda is such a great host. Nothing makes a guest feel at home like a host who responds in time and makes sure that the basics are clearly understood effortlessly. I will recommend this house and definately visit again.

What a spectacular 5 star weekend! After being disappointed by our initial booking at a different company, we were fortunate to find Yolinda at Yolo Spaces online. She contacted us immediately and had her exquisite home available for us within an hour. Vaal River Bush Lodge was even more impressive than the photographs. This beautifully decorated home catered to our every need. Everything in the house was of exceptional quality, no expenses spared. German was so hospitable and ensured that the house was spotless and the pool area was set up for our comfort. A water cooler with filtered water, an ice maker and dishwasher were just some of the extras that made our stay extra comfortable. Home away from home. Can't wait to go back and also try Yolo Space's other stunning properties. Yolinda and German, you're gems in your field. Many blessings.

We had a great stay. Fantastic and beautiful well equipped home with everything you could need and more. The pool area is great to lie and relax and the boat house was a super bonus space. The kids loved fishing under the boat house. And all this just an hour out of Jozi. German and Rose were lovely, they were helpful and worked quickly and efficiently.

I had the opportunity of coming across the most incredible hide out destination in the Vaal River. I am always sourcing new locations for photo shoots, video shoots etc and finding a gem is sometimes hard to come by. A beautifully decorated home, perfect for the weekend getaway with a breath taking view. We hired a boat and a jet ski for the family so that they did not get bored.  My favourite had to be the glass room. Absolutely perfect to relax and unwind with a book and a sundowner or two. The evening vibe in winter had to be nothing but romantic with the fireplace lit to chill the Autumn air. Definitely going back to this stunning hide out.

Myself and a group of friends recently stayed at YOLO Spaces at the Vaal river where we were treated to a wonderful weekend away.   It was a fun filled experience that we will remember for a long time. The home is secluded enough to enjoy yourselves completely, yet close enough to get to places along the river easily.   We spent our lazy days, relaxing at the pool, in the hot tub and making use of the many water sport amenities for hire such as jet skis, water skiing and river riding.   If you are looking for a place to unwind and to distance yourself from the city then look no further, I highly recommend this luxurious villa and cannot wait to return.

This house is one of the best places I have stayed at on the Vaal river. The house is clean and tidy always. The beds are incredibly comfy and always sleep well like I’m sleeping on the clouds. The pool area is spacious and using friendly for all ages. Loved lying on the outside furniture in summer. Nestled in the trees it’s the perfect hideaway spot for a family weekend away or to take a group of friends. With the river 10 meters away from the house and a few restaurants along the river we never got bored. I would highly recommend this place.

One of my favourite spots to get away for the weekend. My home away from home! Calm and relaxing, love spending the mornings at the boat house overlooking the river. The main house is spacious and perfect for entertaining with friends and family. Whether you want to chill at home or spend all your time on the water you have the best of both worlds!
